Dr. Megan Bodnar B.S., D.C. Doctor of Chiropractic

Education

Dr. Megan received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from St. Joseph’s College in 2001.  From there she began her chiropractic education at Life University in Georgia, and finished her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2005.  While in school she received extra training in upper cervical adjusting, Sacral-Occipital Technique, and cranial adjusting.  Since school she has focused her extra training in Paediatric adjusting and Activator Method adjusting.

Qualifications

Chiropractic education is very comprehensive. Along with learning manipulation techniques, chiropractic students also study anatomy, neurology, bacteriology, pathology, physiology, biochemistry, pediatrics, geriatrics, spinal biomechanics, orthopedics, X-ray, cardiology, nutrition, physiotherapy, gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems, and infectious diseases. Every chiropractic graduate must then pass a four part national examination.

Doctors of Chiropractic are not only trained in problems dealing with the spine, but are formally educated in clinical examination and diagnosis of the entire human body. Doctors of Chiropractic have training comparable to medical or osteopathic doctors in the basic sciences, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, etc. A report by Meredith Gonyea, Ph.D., President of the Center for Studies in Health Policy, Inc., found that among all health care professions, "only D.C.s [Doctor of Chiropractic], M.D.s [Medical Doctors], and D.O.s [Doctors of Osteopathy] focus on health care interventions for the well being of the whole person."

While still in school, Dr. Megan was also able to participate in Palmer’s Clinic Abroad program in Fiji.  Over a three week period, she and thirty other students travelled around the Fijian islands and operated free clinics.  In several areas, they went to schools and adjusted the children.  Since school, she held an associated position for a year before being presented with the opportunity to live and work in Ireland in 2007. 

Dr. Megan is recognized by the Indiana Board of Chiropractic as well as the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  She was a student member of the International Public Health Association, and is currently a member of the International Chiropractic Association of Indiana, and the Chiropractic Association of Ireland.

Dr. Megan was born in northwest Indiana, just outside of Chicago, and most of her family still resides there.  She moved around the states to attend school, living in Atlanta, Georgia and Davenport, Iowa.  She is now very excited to be living in Ireland.  She enjoys a variety of activities outside of the clinic, including theatre, photography, snorkelling, and reading.

Judy Cella, Masters of Science in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy

Judy Cella is originally from New York. She also lived in Orlando, Florida where she obtained her primary bachelor degree. County Kildare Ireland has become home to Judy and her family since relocating here in 1998.

Education

Judy received a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behaviour (Applied Psychology) from Rollins College, Hamilton Holt School in Winter Park, Florida 1991. She completed Foundations in Counselling Certificate with National University of Ireland in 2005. Thereafter, Judy completed a Masters of Science in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin City University in 2010.

Qualifications

Judy qualified and has been working in private practice as a Psychotherapist Counsellor since June 2008. She qualified at Irish Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy Studies at Turning Point/Dublin City University. Judy’s training was benefited with over 100 client hours at Kildare Mental Health at Tus Nua working in concurrence with resident Psychiatrists. In addition, Judy has provided many volunteer hours to counselling in Open Arms Community Church, Newbridge, Co Kildare. Samaritans has been another area of interest in which she volunteered in the Newbridge Branch from 2002-2005. Judy volunteered at Samaritans both as a counsellor and in outreach travelling to secondary schools to raise awareness to the services. Judy is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP) as well as an associate member of Irish Association for Christian Counsellors (IACC).

Jim Fogarty, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified NLP Master Practitioner and Certified Past Life Regression Therapist.

A  Chartered Engineer by profession , achieving the title Fellow of the Chartered Institute. Jim has also qualified as an Accredited Mediator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and held positions in third level institutes on Higher Degree Accreditation Boards

In business and professional life Jim has held senior consultancy positions and has extensive

 experience practising in Ireland and the Middle East.

Always pursuing a deeper understanding of life, Jim has undertaken additional studies and achieved

qualifications such as:

Hypnotherapy: Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (NGH)

Neuro Linguistic Pyschology: Certified Practitioner and  Master Practitioner. (NLPF)

Past Life Regression Therapy: Diploma PLRT. MPLTA.

Equesterian:

A qualified equestrian coach, Jim has undertaken professional studies in the non aggressive

training and rehabilitation of problem or difficult horses.

His professional studies were undertaken with many of the world's leading behaviour training

experts throughout Europe and America.

His in-depth understanding of equine behaviour and his spiritual healing abilities leaves him as

one of Irelands leading rehabilitation trainers and breakers. He provides these services from his modern equipped comprehensive Horse Therapy Centre in Ballyteague, Co.Kildare.
